07 November 2025 Update

The 2025–26 skilled migration program year has officially begun, with several Australian states and territories confirming their allocations for the Skilled Nominated (subclass 190) and Skilled Work Regional (subclass 491) visas. These allocations set the number of nominations each jurisdiction can issue to skilled migrants who meet their specific eligibility and occupation requirements.

Below is an overview of the confirmed allocations for New South Wales (NSW), the Australian Capital Territory (ACT), and Tasmania.

NSW Skilled Migration Allocation 2025–26
